The teams traded baskets early in the second, with the Majors still able to maintain a lead.
That changed when the Tigers went ahead 59-57 with 12:38 left to play and never trailed again. That go-ahead basket was part of a 10-0 Sewanee run that the Majors could not comeback from.
Millsaps got to within four points twice in the final five minutes, once on a
Ryan McLaurin jumper, and later on another Grant three-pointer, but unfortunately the Tigers were able to hold off the comeback and escape with a 98-91 upset win.
