JACKSON, Miss. -- The Millsaps College men's tennis team played their first two home matches of the season this weekend. The Majors welcomed the Louisiana College Wildcats and Mississippi University for Women Owls to Coach Montgomery Courts.
Millsaps was the superior team in both matches, winning 9-0 each time.

In singles play, Beck came back from a first set loss, winning the second set 7-5 and taking the third-set 10-7 to capture his second win of the afternoon.

Sunday vs Mississippi University for Women
On Sunday afternoon, the Majors capped off the weekend with another 9-0 win. This time over in-state opponent the Mississippi University for Women. Millsaps won all seven of the matches that were played, and scored the other two points on forfeit victories.
