ROME, GA. – The Millsaps men's and women's golf programs concluded their fall campaigns at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday. Freshman Annie Piggott led the women tying for 14th at 11-over par 144, while junior Andrew Lovejoy paced the men in a tie for 23rd at 5-over par.

The women played on a 5,819-yard course at the Coosa Country Club, while the men competed on 6,740 yards at Stonebridge Country Club. Both courses were two rounds at par 72.

Piggott (73-82—155) helped the Majors finish 13th as a team in a strong field, while the men ended the two-day event in 15th overall.

Classmate Sophia Albasini posted nearly identical rounds of 89 and 88 to finish tied for 63rd at 33-over. Rounding out the scoring for the Majors were junior Kati Albright (T-70th, +35) and senior Lindsey Gordon (T-84th, +45). Claire Reynolds and Mallory Noble also represented Millsaps.

On the men's side, Lovejoy shot rounds of 73 and 76 to card 149. Classmate Krtin Udith of Toronto entered the invite on fire, shooting a 3-under 69 in Round 1. Udith closed with an 86 to finish tied for 44th at 11-over par.
 
Junior Gabe Brooks (T-77th, +20) and sophomore Harrison Rhymes (83rd, +23) completed the Millsaps team scoring. Not far behind was freshman Will Danielson (87th, +25).

Both programs will look forward to their spring slates, which are set to begin in February. Full schedules will be announced at a later date.
