MEMPHIS – The Millsaps women's golf program competed in their second competition of the week, Saturday and Sunday at the Lee & Jee Duncan Rhodes Invitational. Junior
Abigail Cerwick paced the Majors with a top 20 showing on the par-71 course at The Links at Audubon.
After two rounds, Cerwick carded a plus-14 (79-77—156) to tied for 20th in the field of 56 competitors. A quartet of freshmen followed including
Audrey Perry (T-43rd),
Hynslee Goff (51st),
Madison Baker (52nd), and
Addison Forbes (53rd).
Perry carded a plus-27 (87-82—169), Goff posted a plus-33 (91-84—175), Baker finished at plus-34 (87-89—176), and Forbes closed at plus-38 (92-88—180).
Millsaps will next compete at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational in San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 12-13.
