ATLANTA – The Millsaps men's soccer team battled top-seeded Oglethorpe in the SAA Tournament Quarterfinals, but fell 5-0 on Saturday.

Michael Hamauei finished the match with seven saves at the Oglethorpe Track and Field complex. He would generate four saves in the opening half and three in the second.

Jacks Dowdy finished with two shot attempts and graduate
Nicolas Nieto recorded one shot try.
The Stormy Petrels were quick out of the gates, with Ben Alram scoring in the opening minute. Oglethorpe would find another goal in the 15th minute off the boot of JR Cozine.
Alram would score again in the 39th minute, solidifying his first half brace.
The Majors saw two of their upper classmen generating shots in both the first and second half of the match. Dowdy would have shots in the 38th and 54th minutes. Nieto would have a shot in the 52nd minute.
The Petrels would put the game away with two Aaron Ibe finishes in the 63rd and 77th minutes of the match.
Millsaps will now await to see the announcement of the All-SAA Team in the coming days. Dowdy has previously been named All-Conference twice. Hamauei also earned a spot on last season's team and currently leads the SAA with 101 saves.
