ROME, Ga. – The Millsaps women's golf program took the course on Monday and Tuesday, finishing 12th at the Chick-fil-A Invitational. Junior
Annie Piggott placed in a tie for 15th, while classmate
Sophia Albasini finished in the top 50 at the Stonebridge Golf Club.
The Majors completed on a par-72 and 5,704-yard course.
Piggott had a strong performance in the Chick-Fil-A invite, carding a plus-17 and only eight strokes back of the leader. She tied for fourth with four birdies (78-85 —163)
Albasini finished in the top 50, tying for 46th at plus-29 (88-87-175). Junior
Mallory Noble carded a plus-40 to tie for 62nd (88-98 —186).
Sophomore
Lily Moore concluded in 75th place with a plus-58.
Millsaps will return to competition in the spring. The schedule will be revealed in the coming weeks ahead.
