KINGSLAND, Texas – The Millsaps women's golf team had a strong showing at The Legends Cup following two rounds of combined play on Monday and Tuesday. Juniors Annie Piggott and Sophia Albasini finished in the top 25 at the Legends Golf Club in Kingsland, Texas.
 
The Majors competed on a par-72 and 5,727-yard course and placed seventh out of 11 teams.
 
Piggott fired identical rounds of 75 to complete 36 holes at plus-6 and finish fourth in a field of 61 competitors. Piggott tallied her eighth and ninth collegiate rounds of 75-or-lower scores and cracked the top 10 for the eighth time. Additionally, she was tied with the most birdies with six over the two rounds, held at the Legends Golf Course in Kingsland, Texas. 
 
Albasini carded a strong plus-18 to tie for 22nd overall (78-84—162). She also finished with the 14th-most pars with 20.
 
Rounding out the Millsaps score were junior Mallory Noble (T-42nd, plus-28) and sophomore Lily Moore (55th, plus-46). Freshman Chloey Moore (60th, plus-69) also competed for the Majors

Millsaps will look ahead to and conclude their fall slate at the Chick-fil-A Invitational, hosted by Berry College in Rome, Ga., Oct 30-31. Live leaderboards will be available at gomajors.com.
