MINNEAPOLIS – Another terrific offensive performance by the Millsaps women's basketball team was recognized on Tuesday. Junior guard Haley Franklin secured a spot on D3hoops.com's Women's Basketball Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware.

The Baton Rouge, La., native netted a season-high 32 points to go along with six rebounds, three assists, one steal and a career-high four blocks in nearly 32 minutes of action. Franklin shot 75 percent from the floor (12-of-16) and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line in a 72-55 triumph over MUW. The performance was her sixth total 30-point effort as a Major after recording five as a sophomore.

Last week she was tabbed the SAA Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week and made the 2023 D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team.

Millsaps (9-1) next travels to New York City for the D3 NYC Invitational, slated for Dec. 19-20. The Majors face Williams College on Tuesday, beginning at 10 a.m. CT and face the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor on Wednesday, starting at 12 p.m. CT.
