JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps men's tennis team took care of Belhaven in a 6-3, Senior Day triumph at Coach Montgomery Courts on Friday.

The Majors will next begin Southern Athletic Association play at Oglethorpe on Saturday, April 1, beginning at 10 a.m. CT.

Millsaps jumped out to a crucial 2-1 lead following doubles. Junior

Carson Chassaignac made quick work of their Blazer opponents, 8-1 on doubles Court 1. Jackson and Kimball secured an 8-4 triumph on Court 3, while Hecht and Vaccaro narrowly fell, 8-7 (8-6).
The Majors claimed the match by winning on Courts 3 through 6 in singles. Jackson recovered from a 6-4, set one defeat to win sets two and three, 6-1, 6-3 on Court 3. Chassaignac (6-1, 6-2), freshman
Sam Tuli (6-2, 6-4) and Hecht (6-0, 6-0) only needed two sets to tally wins on Court 4, 5 and 6, respectively.
Vaccaro was bested narrowly, 6-4, 6-2 on Court 1, while Kimball fell in three sets, 5-7, 6-1, 6-3.
