JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps men and women's tennis programs fell in hard-fought matches to Jones College at the Bobcat Tennis Courts on Saturday.

The Majors will next play a series of matches at Spring Break Tennis in Orlando, March 12-15.

Men's Recap: L, 4-5
 
The Majors claimed a 2-1 lead after doubles action. Senior Trevor Vaccaro and freshman Sam Tuli found their mojo on Court 2, edging their foes 8-7. Senior Hamilton Jackson and graduate John Kimball won 8-5 on Court 3.

No. 15 Jones College (12-0) made a comeback with four victories in singles. The Bobcats entered ranked in the ITA NJCAA Men's National Team Rankings.
 
Kimball (7-5, 4-6, 10-4) and senior Kells Hecht (2-6, 6-3, 12-10) were victorious in three-set thrillers. Jackson and Tuli fell in three-set battles.

Women's Recap: L, 3-6

No. 12 Jones College (12-0) took a commanding 3-0 advantage through doubles. Sophomore Mary Dabadie and junior Madison Williams were the closest in defeat, falling 8-6.
 
The teams split six matches each across the singles courts. Williams was victorious on Court 3 (6-4, 6-4) and Dabadie won on Court 4 (6-4, 6-1). Additionally, sophomore Mackenzie Vordick won her first collegiate match while on Court 4 (5-7, 6-2, 10-3).
