CANTON, Ga. – Millsaps senior women's golfer Annie Piggott claimed her second Southern Athletic Association Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honor of the season after a conference-wide vote by SAA coaches was revealed on Thursday.

Piggott led the Majors at the FHU Fall Invitational with her second first-place showing of her collegiate career after completing two rounds at plus-9 (77-76—153), Monday and Tuesday.

She earned the win by clearing the field by a stroke on the challenging Chickasaw Golf Course in Henderson, Tenn. Piggott secured four birdies, all in Round Two, and sank a clutch birdie shot on a par-4, 18th hole.
 
The weekly honor was Piggott's sixth of her Millsaps career and second in two weeks. She earned the same recognition on Oct. 3 after finishing runner-up at the Legends Cup at plus-2 (71-75—146).
 
Millsaps will next take part in the U-Dallas Crusader Cup, Oct. 28-29 at the Hawks Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village, Texas.
