JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps women's basketball team welcomes Belhaven University, Berea College, and the University of the Ozarks to town as the Majors host the Millsaps College Fall Classic inside the Hanger Dome, Nov. 8-9.
Matchups will take place at 4 and 6 p.m. on Friday as well as 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturday. All games will feature live video and live stats.

Millsaps is expected to have a strong start to the season, with this tournament being their season opener the Majors will be fired up. The All-Southern Athletic Association trio of Haley Franklin, Garin Freeman and Elyse Warren will lead the way for the majors.

The Blazers seek to open their season on a good note as well and hungry for a win. Ebony Gayden (15.4 ppg) and Xhiir Burgess (14.9 ppg, 11.1 rpg) will be players to watch for the weekend.

The Eagles are looking to earn their first win of the 2024 season having senior Naomi Smith (13.3 ppg, 10 rpg) along with Abby Beene (8.5ppg) to lead the way.

Coming off an impressive 24-4 record with top returners Lynkaylah James (15.5 ppg, 11 rpg) and Drea Satori (11.1ppg), Berea expects to get the ball rolling against Belhaven.
