JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps women's tennis program defeated Hendrix, 5-4 and the men's tennis team fell, 7-2 to the Warriors at the Coach Montgomery Courts on Saturday. Senior Jakub Bobinski, Kiana Everhart, Madison Williams and graduate Camille Fremaux were recognized following the matches for Senior Day.

Millsaps next hosts Oglethorpe for a pair of matches on Saturday at 9 and 11 a.m. The regular season then concludes on Sunday with a battle with Berry in Jackson at 9 and 11 a.m. as well.

Women's Recap vs. Hendrix, 5-4, W 

The Majors jumped out to a crucial 2-0 advantage through doubles. Junior Mary Dabadie and Everhart outlasted Hendrix, 8-6 on Court 1, while Fremaux and Williams made quick work of their foe on Court 2, 8-1.

Fremaux and Williams were also victorious in singles with convincing wins on Courts 1 and 2, respectively. Fremaux won 6-1, 6-2 and Williams cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win.

Dabadie provided the clinching point as the Majors led 5-1. She downed her challenger, 6-4, 6-2 on Court 4.

Everhart and junior Mackenzie Vordick battled valiantly into third-set tiebreakers. On Court 3, Everhart was bested 4-6, 6-4 and 16-14 in the breaker, Vordick fought back in defeat 0-6, 6-3 and 10-8 in the tiebreaker on Court 5.

Hendrix jumped ahead 3-0 after doubles matches. Junior Anderson Dulaney won at strong match, 6-3-6-2 on Court 2 singles, while sophomore Sam Tuli triumphed, 6-3, 7-5 on Court 4.

Bobinski and junior Sam Willard both battled in set-one tiebreakers. On Court 3, Bobinski lost 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 and Willard was defeated 7-6 (7-5), 6-0 on Court 6.
