DICKSON, Tenn. – The Millsaps men's and women's golf programs saw positive momentum and movement up the leaderboards in Round Two of the 2024 SAA Golf Championships at the Greystone Golf Club on Saturday.

Junior Annie Piggott continued her strong, consistent play for the Millsaps women's squad and sits third, only three strokes back of first place. Competing on a par-72 course spanning 5,601 yards, Piggott carded a 2-over 74 in Round Two and sits 3-over for the tournament (73-74—147).

Piggott currently is tied for third with six birdies and tied for sixth with 22 pars. Classmate Sophia Albasini moved up six spots into 32nd after shooting a 7-over 79 on Saturday. Albasini has now totaled three birdies. Sophomore Lily Moore also competed for the Majors in 39th.

On the men's side, Millsaps remained in seventh but closed the gap on sixth-place Hendrix on the 6,621-yard, Round Two course.

Freshman Preston Severs fired an identical 2-over 74 and ranks 17th at plus-4 for the event. His consistency has been a display as he now holds 27 pars, tying for fourth most.

Graduate Price Bryan (79-74—153), freshman Juan Moral (78-75—153) and junior Will Danielson (77-76—153) all vaulted upward and are tied for 27th position. Freshman Davin Karst (80-74—154) picked up nine spots into 32nd.

Bryan (11 spots, 24 pars), Moral (seven spots, 25 pars) and Karst (25 pars) all recorded their lowest round as Majors on Saturday. Graduate Krtin Udith finished tied with Karst at plus-10 through two rounds (75-79—154).

The Final Round of the 2024 SAA Golf Championship begins at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Live scoring links are available at gomajors.com.
