NEW ORLEANS – The Millsaps men's and women's golf programs excelled in three rounds of action at the Wolf Pack Spring Invitational at English Turn Golf & Country Club, Monday and Tuesday. Freshman

Annie Piggott each placed sixth as host Loyola New Orleans won both competitions.
The Millsaps men's squad finished fifth on a par-72 course, ranging 7,010 yards. Piggott and classmate
Sophia Albasini represented for the women's team and competed on a par-72 course, covering 5,825 yards.
Severs recorded his second collegiate top-10 finish and best-ever finish as a Major after carding 5-over (74-76-71). He tallied seven birdies and the second-most pars with 36.
Placing 19th was junior
Will Danielson (75-77-79) and graduate
Price Bryan (76-81-74), who each carded 15-over. Danielson ended with 34 pars and Bryan also collected seven birdies.
Completing the scoring was senior
Harrison Rhymes in 26th at 19-over (80-78-77), which was four strokes ahead of freshman
Juan Moral (77-78-84) in 37th.
On the women's side, Piggott earned her fourth top-10 finish of the season after improving round over round (81-79-74), closing 18-over in sixth place like Severs.
Albasini also shot bettering after two rounds on Monday and the third round on Tuesday after placed 34th (97-97-85, 58-over).
The Millsaps men's golf squad will be back in action April 14-16, beginning on Sunday at the Shoals Intercollegiate in Florence, Ala., while the Millsaps women's golf team will next compete in the SAA Golf Championships, April 26-28.
