Millsaps continued to press, earning multiple corners and attempting several shots, including efforts by Blandon and Lopez, which were either off-target or saved. Rhodes extended their lead with a goal in the ninth minute. The half concluded with Millsaps trailing, as the score stood 2-0 in favor of Rhodes.
The second half began with Millsaps pushing forward, seeking to close the gap. Rhodes though extended their lead with a goal in the 68th minute. The Majors looked to respond with a shot by Dykes that was saved by Kettner, maintaining Rhodes' advantage. Rhodes capitalized again in the 76th minute with a fourth goal.
Millsaps continued to create opportunities, with Lopez and Dykes recording shots. The half concluded with Rhodes securing a 4-0 victory.
