THE TEAMS
Millsaps College
The Majors enter the 2025-26 season with high expectations and a new coaching staff ready to carry on the program's tradition of toughness and teamwork. Junior guard
Garin Freeman headlines the lineup after averaging 14 points per game on 38 percent shooting and leading the team with 136 assists last season.
Freeman is joined by fellow junior
Tia Anderson, whose perimeter shooting stretches defenses and opens up the paint. The interior presence comes from senior forward
Elyse Warren, a double-double machine who averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds per game last year while collecting 12 double-doubles.
With leadership, experience, and renewed energy from the new staff, the Majors look to make a statement on their home floor and start the season strong.
Belhaven University
The Blazers are looking to build on a
17–10 campaign that saw them reach the
CCS Conference Championship. Senior leaders
Katelyn Coleman,
Savannah Hailey, and
Veronica Williams will set the tone once again.
Coleman averaged
7.5 points on 48% shooting and made her presence felt defensively with
53 steals. Hailey returns as the team's top returning scorer at
10.5 points and six rebounds per game, while Williams adds consistency and efficiency from the free throw line at
80%.
With a solid returning core and impact newcomers, Belhaven looks to stay hot and make another deep run in 2025.
University of Dallas
Head Coach
Ty Adams enters his second season at the helm with a young but promising Crusaders squad. Adams welcomes his
first full recruiting class, featuring
10 newcomers alongside a few key returners.
Among them, sophomore
Adriana Medina provides stability after averaging
6 points per game and an impressive
92% from the free throw line last season. The Crusaders aim to grow quickly and showcase their talent as they navigate a rebuilding year filled with potential.
Mississippi University for Women
