Annie Piggott Earns Fourth SAA Weekly Golf Plaudit of 2024-25 Season

Senior Selected by League Coaches after Winning at Eagle’s Bluff Intercollegiate

CANTON, Ga. – Millsaps senior women's golfer Annie Piggott continued her outstanding season at the Eagle's Bluff Intercollegiate. On Thursday, she was named the Southern Athlete Association Women's Golfer of the Week for the fourth time during the 2024-25 campaign.

Piggott claimed her third triumph of the season and back-to-back wins after carding two rounds at plus-5 (74-73—147) on the par-71 course with four chip-ins at the event, Monday and Tuesday.

She was tied for first after her 16th hole in round two, where she birdied the 17th and holed out from 36 yards to card an eagle on her 18th hole. Piggott used the dramatic finish to clear a Mary Hardin-Baylor foe by three strokes.

Piggott has placed first three times, second after a playoff hole, third and 23rd in her incredible senior season. She now has been recognized eight times during her collegiate career by the SAA with weekly accolades.

The Millsaps women's team will next compete in the FHU Spring Classic at Ross Creek, April 7-8.
