SHREVEPORT, La. — The Millsaps baseball team fell to Centenary College, 12-2 on Tuesday at Shehee Stadium.

Wesley Grant showcased his power at the plate with a home run, contributing two runs and one RBI while also securing two stolen bases.
Senior
EJ Ousley collected two hits and demonstrated defensive skill with three assists from the shortstop position.
Junior
Dylan Welter provided solid relief, recording an inning and a third without surrendering a hit while striking out one batter.
Centenary took an early lead in the bottom of the first to take a 1-0 advantage over the Majors.
In the top of the second, Millsaps responded when Grant scored on a balk after stealing second and third to tie the contest at 1-1.
However, in the bottom of the second inning, the Gents scored on a bases-loaded walk, moments later, two more runs would extend Centenary's lead to 4-1.
The game remained quiet until the sixth inning, when Centenary would increase their scoring to 10-1.
Millsaps narrowed the gap slightly in the top of the seventh inning with a solo home run by Grant, making the score 10-2.
Centenary added two more runs in the eighth, highlighted by a home run, bringing the score to 12-2 to secure their victory on Tuesday.
The Majors will be back at home on Wednesday, Feb. 25, to host Huntingdon College beginning at 3 p.m. with live video and live stats available at gomajors.com.
