Millsaps Golf Takes to the Tee at SAA Championships

Majors to Compete in Three Rounds, April 24-26

JACKSON, Miss. – The Millsaps College men's and women's golf teams look to finish their seasons strong at the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Men's and Women's Golf Championships.

On the women's side, the Majors will be represented by sophomore Abigail Cerwick.

Cerwick started her season off strong with a second-place finish at the Roger Lundy Alabama Invasion. She continued that success throughout the season with three more top 20 finishes as she looks to compete for the SAA medal.

Representing Millsaps from the men's team will be junior Julius Kroell, sophomore Miles Harrison, sophomore Charlie Berglund, senior Steven Noack, freshman Jack Ritter, and sophomore Noble Burns.

Kroell is playing just his first year, where his best 18 (71), and finish (T19) came a few weeks ago at the Space City Classic.

Harrison has played in every match for the Majors, where he also performed well in the Carla Spenkoch Invitational shooting his best three round (219) there. He also had his best finish at the Rhodes Fall Invitational (T9).

Berglund has also played every contest for Millsaps this season, posting his best-ever 54 holes (222) at the Space City Classic, as well as his best finish (T7) at the Belhaven Invitational.

Noack has had himself a very impressive year, where he as beaten every performance from his last season, most impressively a 3-under 69 at the Belhaven Invitational.

Ritter joined the Majors in the Spring and has looked strong early on. Across two tournaments, his best round was a 76 at the Goliath Compression Invitational, while his best place on the leaderboard was tied for 35th at the Cochran Collegiate.

Burns competed in his first collegiate contests this season were he posted a 75 at the same Cochran Collegiate, while he carded a tie for 30th at the Belhaven Invitational in October.
