DICKSON, Tenn. – The Millsaps men's and women's golf programs opened competition in Round One of the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Men's and Women's Golf Championships on Friday. Sophomore
Miles Harrison led the way for the Majors with a tie for 10th place after 18 holes at the Greystone Golf Club.
Harrison carded an even round at 72 with four birdies. Classmate
Charlie Berglund tied for 37th at plus-6, just one stroke better than freshman
Jack Ritter (tied for 40th). Completing the Major scoring after Round One was senior
Steven Noack at plus-9 (tied for 45th).
Junior
Julius Kroell finished right behind at plus-10 in 47th, while sophomore
Noble Burns carded a plus-11 in 48th spot on the leaderboard.
On the women's side, sophomore
Abigial Cerwick ended the day in a tie for 25th at plus-10 on the par-72 course.
The Majors will be back in action for the Round Two, beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
