CANTON, Ga. — The Millsaps men's and women's swimming and diving programs look to prove their competition wrong after both teams were selected seventh in the 2026-27 Southern Athletic Association Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Preseason Polls. Both polls were voted on by league coaches and announced by the SAA office on Thursday.
 
For the Millsaps men's swimming and diving team, the Majors finished at seventh place with 18 points. Trinity earned 48 points, including six first-place votes, while Centre earned the final first-place tally with 40 points. 
 
On the women's side, Trinity was also picked first with 48 points leading again with six first-place votes. Centre and Rhodes both placed second with 40 points and one first-place vote each. 
 
The Millsaps women's swimming and diving team finished with 18 points in the 2026-27 poll and will work to continue showing strong performances leading up to the conference meet.
 
The 2027 SAA Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships are slated for Feb. 10-13 in Danville, Kentucky, hosted by Centre College.
