KINGSLAND, Texas — The Millsaps women's golf team opened the 2026 fall season at the Texas Legends Cup, competing at The Legends Golf Course, a par-72 course, Monday and Tuesday.
A quartet of freshman made their collegiate debuts and represented Millsaps alongside junior
Abigail Cerwick.
Audrey Perry paced the Majors with a plus 21 (83-82—165) to place 38th. She placed four strokes ahead of classmate
Hynslee Goff (80-89—169), who claimed 45th. Only four strokes behind Goff, was Cerwick at plus-29, tying for 55th (86-87—173.
Getting their first taste of collegiate golf were
Madison Baker (plus-35) and
Addison Forbes (plus-44). Baker was 60th (88-91—179), while Forbes tied for 65th (99-89—188).
The Majors will be right back in action at the Lee & Joe Duncan Rhodes Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
