Sophomore Season (2020): Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll... Hayek was a perfect 1-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles play in a season that was shortened due to the CoVID-19 pandemic.
Freshman Season (2019): Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll... She posted a 2-0 overall mark in singles and a 3-0 overall record in doubles.
Prior to Millsaps: Played and lettered in tennis at Saint Joseph Catholic (Greenville, Mississippi)... Helped her team to a pair of state championships... She was a 4x individual state champion... Named All-State by the Clarion Ledger... She also played and lettered in cheerleading, soccer and cross country... Her cheerleading team were the 2018 state champions... Named a MAIS All-State in soccer... She was a Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist... She was the cross country district champion... Valedictorian, student body president, Interact Club president, Mayor's Youth Council VP, 2018 Star Student, Mu Alpha Theta, member of the National Honor Society, student ambassador.
Personal: Majoring in Biology and Pre-Med... She is a member of Phi Eta Sigma... Active on campus with Kappa Delta, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Tri-Beta and 1 Campus 1 Community.
Personal: Majoring in Biochemistry with a Minor in Mathematics... She is a 4x member of the President's List and also a member of the Freshman Honor Society... Active on campus as a SBA Senator and Foundations Leader... She is a member of Kappa Delta, Sigma Lambda PR, the Mathematics Club, Tri Beta, the Co-Director of CSA, Rotoract, and SAACS... She has completed several research projects on campus including: a concussion / eye movement neuroscience project with Dr. Brunet and a HIV integrase inhibitor project with Dr. Kramer...
