Millsaps forward Alex Bourland had an outstanding week for the Majors.
After scoring a game winning goal last Sunday against Sewanee, Bourland totaled five points during Saturday's win against Rhodes. Bourland helped the Majors earn a 4-1 win over the Lynx with an assist and two goals in the first half of play. It was a career day for Bourland, as his two goals came on four shots for the contest.
He also recorded an assist in the first three minutes of play to give the Majors an early lead. Thanks to Bourland's offensive efforts, the Majors earned their third straight win to close out the regular season.
Bourland's outstanding play also helped earn Millsaps the second overall seed heading into conference tournament play.
