2009: Appeared in three games on the hill ... threw 3.1 innings for a 1-0 record with a 2.70 ERA ... recorded a career-high four strikeouts against Rhodes on Feb. 8.

2008: Appeared in one game on the hill at Huntingdon College on Feb. 20 ... tossed 1.2 innings of middle relief and didn't surrender a hit to earn his first collegiate win ... 5.40 ERA with four walks and one earned run ... also a member of the Majors' SCAC Champion football team. 

High School: Played baseball at Kingwood Christian School for six years under head coach Jeremy Sims, starting as an eighth-grader on the varsity squad ... a three-time defensive MVP ... boasted a .420 average his senior season as a switch hitter, hitting .520 left-handed and .320 right-handed ... led the team in fielding percentage (.993) at shortstop and ERA (2.40) on the mound with 35+ strikeouts ... a four-sport athlete ... also lettered six years in football under head coach Jerry Steams at QB and kicker ... threw for over 6,500 yards over his career with 91 TDs ... also rushed for over 1,500 yards with 15 TDs ... during his junior and senior seasons, he led the state of Alabama in yards and TDs thrown ... also lettered six years in basketball, leading the team in assists all four years (9-12) ... named the defensive MVP his junior year ... also lettered two years in track, placing second in the state his junior year in the mile with a time of 5:18.00.

Personal: Son of Chip and Cindy Pearce ... has a brother, Nathan (19) who also plays baseball and football and a sister, Madelyn (13) ... majoring in business.
