High School: Played for coach Schroeder at Second Baptist HS ... three-time First Team All-District selection and two-time all-state selection ... 2004 state champions.

Personal: Son of Steve and Jean Palmerton ... has two younger sisters, Katie (19) and Amy (17) ... majoring in accounting.
