2008: Academic All-SCAC selection … appeared in 18 games on the season as both a pitcher and outfielder … had two hits at the plate … belted first career home run against Belhaven on March 25, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs in the game … five walks and four runs scored … 15 putouts and one assist against one error in the field … on the hill went 0-0 with a 4.15 ERA in six appearances … six strikeouts … earned first collegiate save against Rhodes on Feb. 10, where he threw 3.1 shutout innings.

High School: Played baseball at Episcopal School of Dallas for head coach David Tollison ... lettered three years as a pitcher and infielder.

Personal: Son of Tim and Kim Riggins ... has two older sisters, Lauren (32) and Meagan (22) ... born and raised in Dallas, Texas ... majoring in business.
