2009: Appeared in 35 games and started in 27 ... went 30-for-105 at the plate for a .286 batting average ... drove in 24 runs while scoring 24 more with four home runs ... belted his first collegiate home run at Millsaps against the University of the Ozarks on Feb. 7 ... career-high three hits against Trinity (3-for-3 in Game 2) on April 18 and a career-high four RBIs at Southwestern on Feb. 22 ... nine multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games ... drew 10 walks and six HBPs ... 2-for-3 on stolen bases ... 147 putouts and 16 assists behind the plate.

2008: Appeared in 14 games and started seven behind the plate … had one hit on the year … drew four walks … solid defensive catcher with 49 putouts and six assists against no errors.

High School: Played at Brandon HS under head coach David Lara ... three-time all-district selection ... also named all-state and best defensive player ... member of the Mississippi All-Star Team.

Personal: Son of Robert and Wanda Berry ... has two siblings, Stephanie Berry (16) and Brian Sakcriska (27) ... majoring in exploratory geology.
