Graduate Season (2023): Started in all 17 games for the Majors while recording 1,485 minutes ... On Oct. 26 Newton tallied one shot and a shot on goal to help the Majors beat Tougaloo 2-0. 

Senior Season (2022): Newton appeared in 12 matches for the Majors where he tallied a goal and an assist … Posted four shot attempts and two shots on goal ... Boasted three shot attempts, two shots on goal and scored in a 3-0 win against Tougaloo on Sept. 18 ... Added an assist in a 1-0 win versus Pensacola Christian on Sept. 15.

Junior Season (Fall 2021): Newton started in all 15 matches for the Majors … Scored one point with an assist in a 2-1 win against East Texas Baptist on Sept. 10.

Sophomore Season (Spring 2021): Newton was one of three players to start in all 15 games for the Majors … He played in 513 minutes of the season … Scored one point with an assist in an 1-0 win against Hendrix on March 19th.

Freshman Season (2019): Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll ... Newton played in all 17 games and started in 15 for the Majors ... He played a total of 1,194 minutes during the year ... Notched his first collegiate point with an assist in the SAA Quarterfinal win over Sewanee on November 2nd.

Prior to Millsaps: Named to the All-State Freshman Team ... Named 1st Team All-District twice and 2nd Team All-District once... Member of the Louisiana All-Star Team... Named the Mandeville High School Midfielder of the Year... His team at Northlake Christian won the state championship in 2016... His team at Mandeville High School was a Division I semi-finalist in 2017... Newton graduated with honors in the top 10% of his class.

Personal: Majoring in Pre-Engineering ... He is a member of both the President's List and Dean's List ... He is also a member of Phi Eta Sigma, the Pan African Student Association and is the treasurer for Helping Hands ... He worked a summer internship as a NASA Software Tester ...
