Senior Season (Spring 2021): SAA Defensive Player of the Year … All SAA First Team … D3Hoops.com All-South Region Second Team … On Feb. 1st, Fortenberry was tabbed the SAA Player of the Week as she averaged a league-high 21 points while adding 8.5 rebounds per contest for Millsaps in a pair of victories over Centre College … She appeared in 12 games and made 11 starts for the Majors … Scoring double figures in 10 games this season, she was second on the team with 15.1 points per game… Fortenberry was first in rebounds per game at 6.8 … She tallied a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds in the SAA conference championship game against Rhodes College on March 13th.

Junior Season (2019-20): First Team All-SAA selection... Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll... Fortenberry played in all 27 games and made 13 starts for Millsaps... She led the team with 15.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game... On November 18th, after an outstanding performance in the opening week of the season she was named the SAA Player of the Week. She averaged 20.7 points per game to help lead the Majors to a 2-1 start to the season. She averaged seven rebounds per game and made 14 total steals in the contests against Belhaven University, Covenant College and Agnes Scott College... On January 17th, Fortenberry scored the 1,000th point of her Millsaps College career in a matchup at Oglethorpe Univeristy... She totaled four 'double-double' performances on the season. 

Sophomore Season (2018-19): First Team All-SAA selection... Named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll... Started all 27 games for the Majors in a season that saw Millsaps win the SAA Regular Season Championship... She finished the year second on the team with 11.4 points per game, and led the way with 6.9 rebounds per game... She led the entire SAA with 2.5 steals per game... On January 7th, after leading Millsaps to three wins in one week over Birmingham-Southern College, Berry College, and Oglethorpe University and averaging 19 points and 7.7 rebounds in those wins she was named the SAA Player of the Week. The 29 points scored against Oglethorpe served as a season-high... Fortenberry also totaled five 'double-double' performances on the season. 

Freshman Season (2017-18): First Team All-SAA selection... She played in all 26 games and made 19 starts for the Majors… Led the team by averaging 14.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game... On November 27th, after having a pair of huge performances in matchups with LeTourneau University and Louisiana College, she was named the SAA Player of the Week. In those matchups alone she averaged 24 points, 10.5 rebounds and one block per game. The 31 points she scored against Louisiana College is a career-high... Fortenberry also totaled four 'double-double' performances on the season. 

Prior to Millsaps: Letterwinner in basketball, softball and track & field... Named to the All-District Team... Named a Senior All-Star... Winner of the Team Most Valuable Player Award... Member of the pep band and concert band.

Personal: Majoring in Sociology with Minors in Religious Studies and Philosophy... She has been named to the Dean's List... Member of the Student Body Association (Executive Director of the Diversity Council), Black Athlete Empowerment (President), Muslim Student Association, the Presidential Ambassadors, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and the Sociology and Anthropology Club... She works on campus as Resident Assistant... During the summer of 2020 she conducted a sociology research project in New Orleans studying the effects of CoVID-19 across different socioeconomic status.
