Biography

Genea Miles comes to Millsaps from the University Lab High School in Baton Rouge, LA.  She is a native of Baton Rouge and majors in sociology here at Millsaps.
 
Genea lettered in basketball while attending University Lab High School where she helped her team win back-to-back Women’s Basketball Championship in 2014 and 2015.
 
Genea is the daughter of Sybil and Rick Miles and has two brothers Solomon Miles and Gerald Thompson.  Genea’s brother Solomon also is involved with athletics as he plays basketball and football.
 
She chose MIllsaps for the great opportunity to receive an outstanding education and to continue her basketball career.
