Biography
Mahalia Crawford begins her fourth season with the Majors as a forward from Thomasville, AL. She attended Thomasville High School and lettered in basketball all four years.
While playing for Thomasville, Mahalia won the All-County Award, Offensive MVP, and was a Team Captain. She was an All County All-Star and was a member of the Regional Championship team. She also was a member of the Beta Club, FBLA, and National Honors Society.
Mahalia is the daughter of James and Lisa Crawford and has three siblings, Shelby, Maya, and Savannah. Mahalia is not the only athlete in her family either, as he father played basketball at the University of Cumberland in Kentucky and her sister, Shelby plays basketball at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Mahalia majors in English and minors in education and chose Millsaps because of the close, small community that is student-centered with small class sizes and great athletics program.
