Rebecca Borg joined the Millsaps coaching staff prior to the 2019 season.
Before arriving in Jackson she worked as the junior varsity head coach at Harrisonburg High School in Harrisonburg, Virginia. During her time there she created and implemented daily practice plans, handled field set up for all practices and games, and served as the goalkeepers coach. During the 2019 season the team finished with a 13-2 overall record.
Prior to coaching at Harrisonburg, Borg was an assistant coach at Bard College in New York from 2016-2018. While at Bard she assisted the head coach with all of the aspects of running a collegiate program, created video scouting reports and helped formulate a database of club coaches for recruting purposes.
She was a standout, four-year starter as a goalkeeper at Eastern Mennonite University from 2012-2015, where she still holds school records for most saves in a single season (170) and ranks second all time in career saves with 439. Borg also was a member of the track & field team where she earned second team all-conference honors in the discuss and third-team all-conference honors in the javelin.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Eastern Mennonite in 2015. Borg is currently pursuing a master's of public health from Liberty University.
