Prior to Millsaps: Lettered in girls' varsity soccer at Helena High School ... Havens was a 2026 All-County Honorable Mention ... 2026 All-State Honorable Mention ... In academics, she excelled in the English Honor Society, the History Honor Society, and the Technical Honor Society.

Why Millsaps: Choosing Millsaps College was about finding a place for her that felt like home. Throughout her recruiting process, she wanted a college where she could continue playing sports. Haven's dedicated so much of her life to also preparing her future career as a nurse. From the moment she connected with the coaches and learned more about the campus of Millsaps College, she knew this was the best place she could grow and learn both on and off the field.

Soccer has taught her discipline, resilience, leadership, and how to work with others towards a common goal. Havens wanted a college that would help her to continue developing those qualities while also challenging her academically so that she would have the will and power to accomplish them. The small classrooms, supportive professors, and close relationships between students and the faculty made Millsaps College stand out to her because she knew that she had the support that she needed to succeed at a great institution.

Attending Millsaps meant joining a community that believes in hard work, service, and personal growth. As a Major Havens is excited to represent the college well on the soccer field, building lifelong friendships and preparing her for a career where she can go and make a difference in the lives of others. Havens is proud to become part of the Millsaps family and cannot wait to contribute to the campus community while pursuing her goals as both a student-athlete and future professional.

Havens value building relationships and serving others.  At Helena High School, she dedicated her time volunteering at youth soccer camps all four years at her local high school while mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Those experiences taught her the importance of leadership, patience, and making people feel included. Personal: Outside of soccer, Havens enjoys babysitting, staying active, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to get involved on campus through service opportunities, Greek life, and activities that allow her to meet new people. She hopes to make a positive impact on the Millsaps community while continuing to grow as a student, collegiate athlete, and future nurse. Havens is majoring in Pre-nursing/Biology. She is the daughter of Angela Fowler, Kyle Patterson, and Lucas Havens.
