2008: Academic All-SCAC selection ... played inall 39 matches as a true freshman (144 games) ... led the team andranked 8th in the SCAC with 62 service aces ... second on the teamwith 13 double-doubles ... second on the team in digs (464)and kills (329) ... averaged 3.22 digs and 2.28 kills-per-game ...posted double digit digs in 23 matches, includinga career-high 30 on Sept. 6 in a 3-1 win over Spring Hill... had a career-high 13 kills (twice) vs East Texas Baptist andColorado College ... also chipped in 21 assists and 20 blocks ...had a career-high five assists vs Belhaven on Oct.17.  

High School: Lettered in volleyball three yearsat St. Joseph's Academy in Louisiana for head coach Sivi Miller ...an outside hitter and return specialist ... team posted a 38-7record ... state champions in 2004 and 2007 ... earned the Coach'saward ... also tabbed Spooktavian All-Tournament Team and firstteam academic all-state.

Personal: Daughter of Vince and Mari Tumminello... has three siblings, Trey (21), Ellie (16) and Peter (11) ...majoring in biology.
