CONWAY,AR- The Millsaps Majors never could get on track against the Hendrix Warriors and fell 25-17, 25-22, 27-25 on Saturday night. 

The Majors got out to a quick first set start, grabbing a 4-0 lead but were done in by eight first set errors. The Warriors would storm back and build a 20-12 lead, the two teams would trade the next 10 points as the Warriors gained a 1-0 advantage. 

The second set went tooth and nail. A kill by Lexus Andrews and solid defense forced a pair of Warrior errors as the Majors gained a 21-19 edge late in the set. The Warriors answered to tie the game at 22 and once again the Majors were done in by errors. Three straight attack errors by the Majors put them in a two sets to nothing hole. 

The Majors responded well early in the third set, using a Casey Brown service run to gain an early lead that was pushed to 17-12. Hendrix had an answer, as they did all night, and responded with a 7-0 run to take a 19-17 lead. The teams traded points until the two squads were tied at 25. The Warriors would score the next two points, win the set, and the match. 

Leading the Majors' offense were Lexus Andrews and Courtney Huie who each had eight kills. Mary Wilson and Taylor Ziegler each had 14 assists, while a trio of Majors had double digit digs, led by Caroline McKey's 14. Katie Burchfield had a monster game for the Warriors with 19 kills. 

The Majors dropped to 11-10 on the year and 4-4 in conference. They have a conference date with Rhodes tomorrow and will also face Muhlenburg as part of the Rhodes Classic.
