JACKSON, MS- Three Majors had double digit kills and the Majors held off a comeback from the Sewanee Tigers, winning in five sets on Sunday afternoon. 

The Majors improved to 15-1 and 6-1 in the conference after a 25-11, 25-23, 22-25, 20-25, 15-7 victory on Sunday. 

Caroline McKey and Lexus Andrews each had 16 kils and Olivia Kleyer added 14 to lead a balanced Majors' offense. Five different Majors had over 10 digs, led by McKey with 30.

Millsaps wasted no time in grabbing an early lead. Christina Tilton's serve led an 8-0 run to help break open the first set. Olivia Kleyer delivered a couple of huge kills in the set and the Majors' defense held the Tigers to just two kills as a team in the 25-11 first set win.

The second set was back and forth as the teams were tied at seven different points during the set. Tilton again had a key service run that erased a four point Tiger lead and tie the match at 15. Sewanee would rally and erase a Millsaps four point lead, tying the game at 22. McKey had two enormous kills to seal the second set for the Majors. 

Sewanee battled back, winning the next two sets. Sewanee won set three after closing the set on an 11-3 run, erasing a five-point Millsaps' lead in the process. The Tigers would pull away late in set four as well as they scored six of the last seven points to pull out set four 25-20. 

McKey led a lengthy service run in set five to set the tone in the deciding set. McKey had an ace as part of a five-point run that put Millsaps up 7-2 in the fifth set. The Tigers never got closer than three points the rest of the set. Kleyer and Andrews had kills to set up the victory and Regan Riddle put the finishing touches on the five-set win with a kill of her own. 

The Majors moved to 15-1 on the season and 6-1 in conference. They will travel to Birmingham Southern on Wednesday in a matchup of the top teams in the SAA. First serve is set for 6pm.
