Box Score CONWAY, AR- Newly crowned Conference Player of the Year Caroline McKey had 11 kills and 15 digs in helping the Majors to an opening round sweep of Oglethorpe in the SAA tournament.
The Majors moved into the conference semis with a 25-14, 25-20, 25-7 sweep of the seventh-seeded Petrels on Friday.
McKey led a balanced effort from the Majors who had four players with at least six kills and had seven different players record at least two. Courtney Huie led all players with a match-high 12 kills while Lexus Andrew' 19 digs were also a match high.
The Majors' defense shined again on Friday, limiting Oglethorpe to a .085 hitting percentage and just 23 kills over the three sets, compared to 45 for the Majors. Regan Riddle (pictured) had three block assists as the Majors tallied eight block assists on Friday.
Millsaps' service was on point as well as Ashley Zamjahn, Taylor Ziegler and Presley Stoltzfus each had two aces.
The Majors improved to 22-5 on the season and will play the winner of the BSC/Sewanee match tomorrow afternoon at 1:30PM.
