Box Score Jackson, MS – The Millsaps women's soccer team fell earlier today to Centre College by a score of 4-0.
Today marked Senior Day for the Majors, as a special presentation was held for the four graduating seniors on this year's team.
Elise Davis,
Malorie Proa,
Lindy Robichaux, and
Katie Sands were all honored before the game as today's kickoff marked the final conference home game for the Majors.
Fourteen minutes into the first half of play, Centre forward Destinie Graves drew a foul inside the Millsaps 18-yard box. Graves' foul resulted in a penalty kick for the Colonels. Shelby Ratcliff was called upon to take the shot and scored giving the Colonels a 1-0 lead.
Destinie Graves added two more goals in the span of a minute to close out the first half scoring. The Colonels never looked back leading 3-0 at the half, as they won the contest 4-0.
Nancy Ingham added another Centre score in the 63rd minute as the Colonels scored four goals on 28 shots. Starting goalkeeper
Elise Davis recorded 11 saves for the game while the Majors had six shots on the day. The loss drops Millsaps to 3-12-1 (1-5) on the year while Centre improves to 12-1-1 (4-0-1).

Katie Sands all complete outstanding careers while here at Millsaps. Today marked the final home conference game for the Majors, as they will look to rebound this Wednesday.
Next up for Millsaps is a regular season home finale against Mississippi College. The midweek local rivalry game is set for this Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 7:00 pm.
