Box Score Memphis, TN – The Millsaps women's soccer team fell in their final game of the regular season earlier today.
Traveling to Rhodes College for an SAA matchup, the Majors dropped their final game of the regular season 4-1. The win for Rhodes improves them to 10-5-1 on the year while the Majors fall to 3-14-1. Today's game, which will close out the regular season of conference play, sets up the seeding for next weekend's SAA postseason tournament.
Kelsey Sweeney scored the only goal of the first half on a pass from Shannon Donelson as Rhodes led 1-0. Starting Majors goalkeeper
Elise Davis recorded 10 first half saves on a flurry of shots from Rhodes. Davis recorded the 10 saves on 17 shots from Rhodes in the first 45 minutes of play.

Lindy Robichaux equalized the score on a string of passes from Mary Katherine Lawrence. Robichaux's equalizer, which occurred in the 51st minute, tied the game 1-1.
Rhodes, however, answered on three unanswered second half goals. Nicolette Glidden, Hope Elliot and Rachel Coyle all scored to give the Lynx a 4-1 win. Rhodes finished today's contest with 34 shots and three total saves.
The Majors finish the regular season as the seventh overall seed moving into conference postseason play, which begins next week. Millsaps will travel to Danville, Kentucky to face Centre (second overall seed) next weekend for the first round of the Southern Athletic Association conference tournament.
