Box Score Conway, AR – The Millsaps Women's fell to Hendrix College earlier today by a score of 5-1.

The loss drops the Majors to 2-8-1 on the year and 0-2 in conference play.  The Warriors improve to 7-3-1 and 1-1 in SAA play.

Hendrix forward Lucy Moore scored four goals for the contest as the Warriors earned a 5-1 victory.

Moore's first two goals on assists from Evie Cannon and Melissa Miller were the only scores of the first half, which gave the Warriors a 2-0 lead.

The Majors would answer as senior Lindy Robichaux scored on a pass from Molly Ambrose just six minutes into the second half of play.

The Warriors, however, closed off the come back efforts by Millsaps by scoring three unanswered goals.  Lucy Moore and Samantha Lallas collectively scored the final three goals leaving Hendrix the victor.

The Majors recorded five saves on 12 shots from the Warriors, as Hendrix outshot Millsaps 12-8 for the contest.

The Majors will look to regroup early next week for another game played on the road.

Next up for the Majors is an instate matchup against Delta State.  The Majors will travel to Cleveland, Mississippi next Tuesday, Oct. 9th for a 4 pm start.
