Box Score ATLANTA, GA- The Millsaps Majors recorded their 10th win of the season and ninth sweep, defeating the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels 25-12, 25-17, 25-14 on Saturday afternoon.
Caroline McKey led a balanced offensive attack with 11 kills while Olivia Kleyer record seven and Lexus Andrews six. McKey recorded a double-double with a game-high 13 digs for the Majors as well.
The Majors' defense set the tone for the match, holding the Petrels to a .058 hitting percentage across the three sets. Millsaps recorded five total blocks to lead the defense with Regan Riddle and Courtney Huie each having a part in three of them to lead the team.
Freshman Ashley Zamjahn led the Majors' service game with three aces as Millsaps recorded seven on the match.
The win moves Millsaps to 10-0 overall and 2-0 in conference. They will next play Covenant this afternoon at Oglethorpe before taking on the Berry Vikings in Rome, Georgia tomorrow afternoon.
