Box Score New Orleans, LA – The Majors Volleyball team won their first game of the regular season on Tuesday with a victory against Dillard University.
The Majors began their season on the road by traveling to face the Bleu Devils in New Orleans. With wins in three straight sets, the Majors took home their first victory of the season.
In front of a road crowd with high energy, the Majors were able to gain an early lead and close out the match in straight sets. The momentum began with the Majors winning the first set 25-11. The greatest test of the match came in the second set where the Majors won 25-22. The final set and game belonged to Millsaps as they capped off an impressive performance with a 3-0 win.
The win is the first of the season as the Majors begin the year with five straight games on the road.
Next up for the Majors is a double header on Friday, Sept. 4th in Southwest Texas against UT-Dallas and Southwestern.
