BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Millsaps College women's soccer team fell to Birmingham-Southern (7-10, 3-4) on Sunday and are now locked into the 8th seed in the SAA going into the conference tournament next week.

The Majors were outshot at the goal 15 to three and lost the corner kick battle eight to two. Olivia Gattuso once again played relatively well as goalkeeper while facing a high volume of shots. Gattuso made 11 saves. The Majors were led on offense by Molly Ambrose and Maria Welch, who attempted six of the Majors eight shots, and all three shots on goal. Emily Gager and Grayston Barron also attempted shots.

The Majors Women's Soccer team now head into the SAA conference tournament starting next week. The Majors will be on the road headed to the home of the one seed, Centre College(7-0 conference record) to play in the first game of the tournament next Saturday. Gametime is to be determined!
