Box Score SEWANEE, Tn. – The Millsaps College women's soccer team fell to Sewanee 4-1 in an away game in Tennessee and fall to 1-9-1 on the season and 0-3 in the conference.
The Majors fell behind early, giving up the first two goals within the first 20 minutes in the game, and fought on but were unable to overcome the early deficit.
Molly Ambrose continued to impress on offense, scoring yet another goal in the game and leading the team in shots once again. Goalkeeper Olivia Gattuso also put in another noble effort in the goal, recording 14 saves in a game where the Majors were outshot 41-3. Maria Welch also chipped in one shot on goal.
