SERIES: Â The Majors will face off against ninth place Sewanee on the road. The Majors are coming off of a tough overtime loss and is looking to rebound against Sewanee on the road.
LAST OUTING: Millsaps: Against Berry, Ty Proctor completed 16 of 33 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown. Taz Watson led the ground game with 45 yards on 15 carries as the Majors combined for 62 yards on 33 rushing attempts. Beau Wells was the leading receiver with 51 yards on four receptions and a touchdown.Rashad Sims also had four receptions for 29 yards to go with his 121 kick return yards and kick return touchdown. On defense, Tyrone Howard had an interception with a 29 yard return and Malcolm Ben also recorded an interception. Hector Sandoval and Steele Liles recorded sacks on the quarterback. Alex Foust and Chandler Loy led the team in tackles for loss with 2.5. Sandoval also led the team in total tackles with 12, with Jared Bullock behind him with nine and Howard with eight.
Sewanee: "Despite building an early 17-0 lead, the Sewanee football team could not hold off a record-setting performance by Chicago quarterback Blake Moser, as the visiting Maroons rallied for a 49-30 win." Sewanee was led by quarterback Sam Hearn, he had 188 yards on 19-27 passing attempts with two touchdowns in an interception. They were led on the ground by Mikey Plancher with 95 yards on 28 attempts and one touchdown. Their leading receiver was Steven Hearn

PAST MEETINGS: Â Millsaps has won each of the last 10 meetings between the Majors and Sewanee. The Majors will look to make this an 11 game win streak over the Tigers.

COACHES: Millsaps head coach Aaron Pelch is 41-35 into his eighth season at the helm of the Majors, with his best year coming in 2013 with a record of 9-1.
Pelch was named SAA Coach of the Year in both 2012 and 2013 as he guided the Majors to conference championships.

After being named the 30th head coach in the Tigers storied history Tommy Laurendine began his reign as the program's leader and offensive coordinator in 2011.
Over the past three seasons, 26 Sewanee football student-athletes were named to All-Southern Athletic Association Team. Under Laurendine's leadership, Sewanee has continued to be one of the top rushing teams in the nation. In 2014, averaged 241 yards on the ground. The Tigers also averaged 4.5 yards per carry under Laurendine's triple option offense.
