Birmingham, AL – The Millsaps Baseball team advanced in the second day of the conference tournament with a 7-4 victory over Sewanee earlier today.
 
The fourth seeded Majors will now face the one seed Panthers of Birmingham Southern tonight at 6:45 pm.  The winner of tonight's game will face Berry tomorrow, April 24th for a chance to win the bracket and advance to the SAA Tournament Championship next weekend.
 
Millsaps secured the victory over Sewanee taking an early lead with four runs in the third.  The Majors extended the lead in the fifth with a pair of runs and again in the seventh with a run to eventually secure the 7-4 victory. 
 
The Majors will face the Panthers in an elimination game tonight after Birmingham Southern was upset by Berry earlier in the day.
