Jackson, MS – The 2016 Baseball All-Conference Selections were recently announced in a press release by the Southern Athletic Association.
 
Six Majors earned All-Conference honors, as Millsaps Baseball completes the season with an overall record of 20-21 and 10-8 in conference play.  Isaac Glenn earned First Team All-Conference honors while Lee Ogletree was named Second Team All-SAA.  Shortstop Drew Wray was named honorable mention along with pitchers Chris Guerin, Daniel Adams and Kenny Wright.
 
Senior Isaac Glenn was named preseason All-American (d3baseball.com) prior to this season and leads the Majors with a .370 batting average.  He is top ten for the conference in batting average, on base percentage at .467, hits with 50, stolen bases with 12 and eighth in slugging percentage at .471 for the regular season. 
 
Glenn leads the Majors in runs with 30 and has started and played in 38 games for Millsaps this season.  Overall, Glenn has totaled 21 RBIs and 50 hits while holding a fielding percentage of .975 at center field for the Majors.
 
Junior Lee Ogletree also earns All-Conference honors after finishing eighth in the conference in RBIs with 28.  He leads the Majors in that category and also leads in homeruns with three on the year.  Ogletree is second on the team in slugging percentage at .449 and has an on base percentage of .364.
   
Ogletree is also top 15 for fielding in the conference playing both catcher and first base for Millsaps.  He is 15th in the conference in doubles and has totaled 42 hits, 15 runs and 28 RBIs starting in 37 games for the Majors this season.
 
Drew Wray completes the fielders earning All-Conference Honors for Millsaps, as the senior shortstop is third on the team in batting average at .319.  Wray has started and played in 39 games for the Majors recording 44 hits and 20 runs in 138 at-bats.  Wray is also top 20 for the conference in batting average, hits and doubles.  He is top 25 in the conference in slugging percentage at .399 as well.
 
Daniel Adams earns All-Conference Honorable Mention honors after finishing the regular season fifth overall in ERA. The sophomore's 2.66 ERA leads all starting pitchers for Millsaps, as he is 3-2 for the regular season appearing in 11 games.  Adams is second in innings pitched at 44 and has totaled 30 strikeouts.  Adams completes the regular season top 20 for the conference in strikeouts, games started and wins as well.
 
Sophomore Kenny Wright also earns All-Conference honors as a starting pitcher for Millsaps.  The lefty is third on the team in ERA at 3.18 and leads the Majors in wins with four.  Wright is a previous SAA Pitcher of the Week selection for the Majors this year as he is top 20 in the conference in wins.  Wright is also top ten in ERA and has 24 strikeouts appearing in 15 games for the Majors.
 
Sophomore Chris Guerin completes the All-Conference Selections for Millsaps as a relief pitcher.  Guerin finished the regular season tied for first in the conference in saves with four.  The closer leads the team in ERA at 2.48 and is fourth overall in strikeouts with 23.  Guerin is top 20 in the conference in wins with an overall record of 3-1 and has appeared in 14 games for Millsaps Baseball this season.
 
Overall, six well-deserved Majors were selected to All-Conference Honors by the Southern Athletic Association.  The Millsaps Athletic Department is proud to announce the All-Conference selections for Millsaps Baseball with Isaac Glenn named First Team All-SAA, Lee Ogletree named Second Team All-SAA and Daniel Adams, Kenny Wright and Chris Guerin selected as SAA Honorable Mention.
