GREENWOOD, Ind. – A quartet of Millsaps College baseball players secured a spot on the 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Baseball Team.
Making the list were seniors Andrew Bradley and EJ Ousley, who both received their undergraduate degree during the 2026 Spring Commencement from Millsaps College. Both these talented student-athletes showed great representation amongst their peers.
Also making the 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Baseball Team were sophomores Fred Fields and Carston Williams. Both of these student-athletes not only showed dedication in competing on the diamond, but also give their best effort to shine in the classroom.
To make the team, an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), which may not be rounded up. To be athletically eligible, baseball nominees needed to compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
Bradley, an Applied Mathematics major, made his way onto the 2026 CSC Academic All-District® Baseball Teams for the first time in his collegiate career.
The Kenner, La., native completed his senior campaign with a 3.56 cumulative GPA.
The right-handed pitcher made Club 40 during his time at Millsaps for boasting an impressive 4.0 GPA during the 2025 Fall semester, while also appearing on the Fall President's List.
Bradley has also appeared on the Spring SAA Academic Honor Roll. He also did an internship with Lanier & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. On the campus of Millsaps, Bradley was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.
Bradley completed his senior campaign as a 2026 All-SAA Honorable Mention student-athlete, where he was ranked eighth in the conference following the regular season with a 4.07 ERA, appearing 16 times on the mound, making four starts.
He finished the 2026 season with one save, where he faced 145 batters following 36.0 innings on the mound.
Bradley bettered his performance with a 3-1 overall pitching record, where he struck out 16 batters.
Fields, a Business Finance major, holds a 3.75 cumulative GPA and has been named on the Dean's List, while also being recognized on the Spring Academic Honor Roll.
During the summer, Fields spends most of his time coaching younger baseball players and helping at a baseball camp.
Following the 2026 season, Fields made 17 appearances on the mound, pitching 38.2 innings for the Majors, and striking out 18 batters.
The 2025 All-SAA Honorable Mention recorded his first save of the 2026 season against Oglethorpe University, pitching 4.0 innings, striking out two batters, and helping the Majors secure an 11-6 win over the Stormy Petrels on April 3.
Ousley, an Accounting major, boasted a 3.84 cumulative GPA. He recently received his undergraduate degree during the 2026 Spring Commencement.
The Prattville, Ala., native has been a member of Club 40, made the President's List, and the Dean's List.
On the campus of Millsaps, Ousley was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and the Executive Leadership Team that assists with the First-Year Experience.
He also served two terms as the president of Kappa Alpha Order. Ousley is now focusing his attention on graduate school, where he is pursuing a Master's in Accountancy with a Focus in Analytics.
The 2025 All-SAA Honorable Mention finished his senior campaign by being named to the 2026 SAA All-Sportsmanship Team for his leadership and inspiration to younger players on the Millsaps baseball team.
Ousley started all 40 games for the Majors during the 2026 season, posting a .262 batting average, 27 runs, and 39 hits, while leading the team with five home runs.
The infielder also tied for third on the team with 28 RBIs and added seven stolen bases to his season's accolades, which was second among the Majors as well.
On Feb. 25, Ousley went 4-for-5 against Huntingdon College, where he also recorded two RBIs and a stolen base to help the Majors secure a 12-11 victory over the Hawks.
Williams, majoring in Health and Exercise Science, holds a 3.96 cumulative GPA. He is involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Working hard outside of baseball, Williams is a member of the President's List, on Club 40, and is a part of the SAA Spring Academic Honor Roll. After graduation he plans to attend Physical Therapy School.
During the 2026 season, Williams appeared in 39 games while making 39 starts. The Shelbyville, Tenn., native finished first on the team with 49 hits and 30 RBIs. He also posted eight doubles, which was second among the Majors.
Williams crushed four home runs during his sophomore campaign, where he also recorded five stolen bases, and seven hit by pitches.
On the mound, Williams also made three appearances where he pitched 1.2 innings by striking out four batters.
